Mundo Imperial Debuts Onsite Summer Camps in Acapulco

Mundo Imperial Hotels & Resorts has launched its “Summer Camp” for children and teenagers staying at Princess Mundo Imperial and Palacio Mundo Imperial in Acapulco’s Riviera Diamante district. Activities include golf tournaments, tennis, art, gymnastics, theater, aquatic recreation, soccer, cooking classes, footgolf, yoga, dance and language immersion.

Princess Mundo Imperial has five pools, complete with waterfalls and a lagoon. The central pool has a bridge and slide. Guests can also admire the creatures that roam freely around the property, including a flamingo and the toucan named Lola, besides a family of peacocks.

Upon registration, campers will receive a welcome kit with a summer camp T-shirt, a water thermos and a backpack. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday, with different programming for guests aged five to 17 years. The camp will be held until August 20.

Just minutes away at Palacio Mundo Imperial, Summer Camp will be held inside Expo Mundo Imperial. Workshops offered will include gardening for kids, discovering new formulas and fun chemical reactions, learning self-defense techniques and twisting balloons into interesting shapes.

At the end of each week, campers will head to Scala Beach Club for a party with plenty of pool time, activities and contests. Back at Palacio, they can enjoy a mini-carnival with the chance to win prizes, play with color bombs and snack on sweets.

“Summer Camp” at Palacio Mundo Imperial will be held until August 26. The first module is for children aged five to nine years, while the second module is for children aged 10 to 17 years. Upon check-out, campers will receive a gift and a bag of sweets.
