NIZUC Resort and Spa to Celebrate Mexican Independence Day

In celebration of Mexican Independence Day on September 16, NIZUC Resort and Spa in Cancun is honoring the holiday with a specialty menu, available for dinner in their signature restaurant, Ramona, Friday, September 13 through Sunday, September 15. The restaurant will offer guests a four-course dinner with the option to add a wine pairing at an additional cost.

The four-course menu will highlight traditional Mexican dishes with a modern flair created by Mexican Chef Eduardo Torres, including chili nogada roll, lobster taco, korobuta pork and traditional corn cake. In addition, the dinner will feature these dishes perfectly paired with wines from the Cava Santo Tomás, one of the oldest vineyards in Baja, California.

The pairing dinner is available for $78 per person and the four-course dinner, without the wine selection, is available for $63 per person.

In other related news, NIZUC Resort and Spa has recently made extensive renovations to its Winik’s Kids Club and Terra Nostra Lounge. The update to Winik’s Kids Club allows children, ages four through 12, to take part in a daily activities program in a supervised environment, whereas the renovations made in Terra Nostra Lounge, the hotel’s gaming center, focused on creating a center equipped with billiards, pinball, foosball and ample TV screens for those over age 12. Additionally, Thursday through Sunday the Terra Nostra Lounge doubles as a full-scale bar for adults 21 and over.
