Park Terrace Hotel Opens Near Bryant Park

Bryant Park has a new neighbor: Park Terrace Hotel officially opens the doors today.

The hotel features a design by Stonehill & Taylor with a nature-inspired color palette throughout. There are 226 guest rooms, featuring views of the park or the city, most with floor-to-ceiling windows.

To introduce the hotel, guests can start their morning in the lounge with a breakfast spread featuring some of New York City heralded favorites: freshly-squeezed juices, cheeses, meats and jams from Murray’s Cheese, fresh baked goods from Pain D’Avignon, spreads, lox and bagels from Zucker’s bagels, yoghurts, fresh fruit, and doughnuts du jour from Doughnut Plant. And complemented with La Colombe coffee and rich espresso, and Tealeaves tea. Guests can head to the Terrazzo Lounge for baked goods from Magnolia and Breads Bakery, and La Colombe coffee.

Guests can experience the Terrazzo Lounge and Terrace, located on the hotel’s sixth floor, with views of both Bryant Park and the Empire State Building. They can have locally sourced tapas as well as artisanal cocktails curated by head mixologist Gates Otsuji, pulling inspiration from the park. Here, they can choose to imbibe in the lounge or outside on the year-round terrace for an after work or pre-event drink - with views of Bryant Park and the Empire State Building. Coming Summer 2019 will be La Pecora Bianca, offering an all-day dining experience and Italian fare.

Park Terrace is a haven for tech-savvy travelers, boasts one of the fastest WIFI connections in New York City, with speeds up to 1GB per second. For convenience, an app has been created that allows them to check in, access their rooms (via mobile key), and sync their phones to their SmartTV. Technology is featured in every room, including Bluetooth Bose speakers. The hotel has four meeting rooms. Other hotel amenities include Malin + Goetz toiletries and Nespresso coffee in guest rooms, hydration stations on every floor and a gym including a sauna. Guests can go to morning yoga classes a few times a week out on the terrace while the weather cooperates.
