Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, known for its private island exclusive to hotel guests, is introducing the brand-new Lover’s Island Overnight package.
This offering begins when couples are whisked away by private boat from the hotel’s dock and greeted at the vacated island with champagne and a butler. A four-course culinary experience is curated to couple’s preferences and served with wine and music styling of choice. Menu selections can include: Pan seared foie gras, mango and rum flambé with baby greens and sherry vinaigrette; Lemongrass marinated, and pan seared black sea bass served with vegetable spaghetti, pumpkin and green pea risotto, mussel nage sauce; Center cut wagyu tenderloin, spinach butter, bone marrow, roasted new potatoes and cabernet sauvignon reduction and Lemon cremeux, salted honey yogurt, pistachio sponge Greek yogurt sorbet bread crocant.
Once the sun sets, the butler will escort couples by candlelight to Flamingo Beach to two cabanas perked on the water's edge that have been converted into overnight accommodations. The living area provides a small speaker, picnic basket filled with late-night snacks, cooler stocked with drinks and amenities such as shampoo, cream, mosquito repellent, flashlights, first aid kit and more. The cabanas also feature soft twinkling lights strung from the ceiling and lanterns lining the floor. A fire pit on the peninsula overlooking the Sea allows more R&R while roasting marshmallows and listening to the waves crash.
Travelers can end the stay with an exclusive sunrise and breakfast at Papagayo Bar & Grill. If guests wish for a later check-out, they can rent the cabana for the day. For couples seeking a spa experience to pair with the overnight package, they can schedule a Sunset Romance treatment or Caribbean Morning treatment at the private island’s Spa Cove.
