Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa Debuts

Highgate has announced the opening of Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa, marking the brand’s first location in Oahu. Situated near the Ala Moana Center, the 39-story hotel houses 187 rooms and suites, as well as 112 residences with ocean and mountain views. As one of Renaissance Hotels’ featured services, the on-property Navigator serves as a friendly neighborhood ambassador and can connect guests with local experts as well as help them discover the best things to savor, shop and see across the island.

Rooms and residences have floor-to-ceiling glass windows, showcasing Oahu’s South Shore, in addition to large bathrooms with deep soaking tubs. Residences also come complete with fully equipped kitchens.

The hotel’s F&B offerings include Mara, which serves family-style tapas, grilled meats and seafood along with a full-service bar and lounge, which includes al fresco dining. Located on the 15th floor, The Coral Club Lounge offers ocean views and serves breakfast, mid-day refreshments, evening hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. SWAY, the pool, deck, bar and grill, offers locally inspired al fresco dining. Renaissance Honolulu’s lobby café includes Lamill Coffee Co., the Los Angeles-based coffee roaster’s first location in Hawaii. Lamill will offer light bites and made-to-order coffees. In-room dining is also available.

The eighth floor Sky Deck houses an 82-foot lap pool, two hot tubs and a heated saltwater pool, a spa, meditation gardens, fitness center, glass-enclosed yoga studio and an outdoor strength training experience. The Uhiwai Spa offers a variety of treatments, including massages, facials and more. The spa is home to Oahu’s first traditional Japanese ofuro, Himalayan salt saunas, steam rooms and cold plunge baths.

Guests can discover the neighborhood with bespoke shopping experiences and explore its coastline and popular surf breaks. Partnerships with local shops showcase the hotel’s commitment to supporting the community while enriching the guest experience.
