Sonesta is launching Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans at the end of 2019. The new extended-stay hotel will be the second New Orleans property added to the company’s developing portfolio.
The new Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans will be located adjacent to the $3.5 billion BioDistrict and less than three blocks from the French Quarter, near New Orleans’s Central Business District, Harrah’s Casino, Earnest N. Morial Convention Center, Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Smoothie King Center and the Mississippi Riverfront. World-renowned festivals such as Mardi Gras and Jazz Festival will happen nearby. The hotel will offer 190 guest rooms, including penthouse, two-bedroom, one-bedroom and studio suites. An outdoor terrace will be located on the building’s third floor offering communal yard space, seating areas and BBQ grills along with a hot tub and lounge chairs.
Each of the residence-style hotel’s feature large suites, adaptable work areas and common spaces. From spacious studios to one- and two-bedroom suites, accommodations at Sonesta ES Suites will offer travelers separate living and sleeping areas and fully equipped kitchens.
Royal Sonesta New Orleans, the first Sonesta property in The Big Easy, is located on Bourbon Street in the heart of the French Quarter. The hotel is home to several dining and entertainment venues, where guests can experience Cajun to Creole cuisine at multiple restaurants and bars or listen to live music at The Jazz Playhouse.
In other Sonesta news, the company recently launched a new hotel in Ecuador, Sonesta Hotel Loja. This is the brand’s second property in the South American country.
