Sonesta St. Maarten Resorts Expands Travel Agent Program

Sonesta's St Maarten Resorts are rebounding after Hurricane Irma with the recent reopening of the all-inclusive, adults-only Sonesta Ocean Point Resort on December 15, 2018, followed by the all-inclusive, family-friendly Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa's soft opening February 1, 2019. Now, the company invites travel agents to book and experience the new resorts with the “See for Yourself” Program. The resorts return as the destination of St. Maarten poises to re-establish welcoming visitors as the island recovers following Hurricane Irma last year.

All-inclusive travel industry rates are as follows:

Sonesta Ocean Point Resort - Room rates for a Junior Suite are $145 per person, per night and an upgraded room category is based on availability, subject to surcharge or lowest available rate. This resort is adults-only, and no children under the age of 18 are allowed.

Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa The Run of House (ROH) room rate is $85 per person, per night and an upgraded room category is $105 per person, per night. Children up to the age of five are free and ages six to 12 are $45 per child, per night.

Sonesta Resorts offers the signature "Stay at One Play at Two" for guests of Sonesta Ocean Point to fully experience both properties. Starting February 1, 2019, Sonesta Ocean Point guests will have access to the facilities at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, coinciding with the soft opening. We will of course provide site inspections for both properties for all agents and of facilities available at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort prior to the re-opening.

Sonesta St. Maarten Resorts also offers special rates for representatives of the airline and cruise industries, available upon request.
