Velas Properties in Mexico Join Preferred Hotels and Resorts

Velas Resorts in Mexico reports that its properties in Los Cabos, the Riviera Maya, the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta have been accepted as members of Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

The Grand Velas Resorts in Los Cabos, Riviera Maya and Rivera Nayarit are now part of Preferred’s Legend Collection, a group of exceptional properties in remarkable destinations worldwide. Meanwhile, Velas Vallarta, an oceanfront family-friendly resort in Puerto Vallarta, is now part of the brand’s Lifestyle Collection, a group of premier global properties.

Preferred Hotels & Resorts is the world’s largest independent hotel brand, representing more than 700 hotels, resorts, residences and hotel groups across 85 countries. Each property in the Preferred portfolio participates in the collection’s Preferred Hotels & Resorts Integrated Quality Assurance Program, which works to ensure each property meets Preferred’s brand standards for product and service. Additionally, member properties participate in the I Prefer hotel rewards program, as well as the Preferred Residences, Preferred Pride and Preferred Golf benefits programs.

Velas Resorts has all-inclusive resort properties in the Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit and Los Cabos in Mexico. The Grand Velas Los Cabos is an oceanfront property, while the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is set between the Sierra Madre mountains and a stretch of beach and landscaped gardens. The Grand Velas Riviera Maya offers both beach and jungle settings five minutes from Playa del Carmen, while the Casa Velas Puerto Vallarta is a boutique adults-only hotel and ocean club on the Marina Vallarta Golf Course. Velas Vallarta is a family-friendly all-suite property on Banderas Bay.
