Stevie Wonder, Van Morrison to Begin Vegas Concert Series

Stevie Wonder has announced he will be playing five shows at The Park Theater in Las Vegas this summer, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The schedule includes shows on August 3, 4, 8, 10 and 11. Tickets for the show, titled “The Stevie Wonder Song Party: A Celebration of Life, Love & Music,” are on sale at ticketmaster.com. Prices start at $56 (not including fees).

Wonder’s most recent concert in Las Vegas was as headliner for Life is Beautiful in September 2015.

Also announced for The Park Theater is a three-show run by Widespread Panic on October 26, 27 and 28; a Bruno Mars mini-series with three shows on July 25, 27 and 28; a 10-show series by Queen with Adam Lambert from September 1 though 22; and Lady Gaga, who opens her extended residency at the theater in December.

Additionally, according to the Los Angeles Times, Van Morrison will perform five shows January 25, 26 and 30 and February 1 and 2 , 2019 at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Tickets range from $59.50 to $250 and are on sale.

Morrison's latest album, You're Driving Me Crazy, is a collaboration with organist/trumpeter Joey DeFrancesco; it debuted in late April. He also played three sold-out shows at The Colosseum earlier this year from January 31 to February 3.

Both artists have routinely sold out their previous appearances in Las Vegas.
