Nexion has announced Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour as its keynote speaker for CoNexion 2017, which will take place September 16 – 19, 2017, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
Armour, America’s first African American female combat pilot in the United States Marine Corps, will share her inspiring life journey and how Nexion members can implement a “Breakthrough Mentality” into their businesses, Nexion said. This year’s CoNexion theme is Think BIG in the Big Easy, and attendees will learn about the latest industry trends, as well as Nexion’s tools and programs.
Leveraging her “Breakthrough Mentality” and “Get Gutsy” mindset, Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour propelled herself from beat cop to combat pilot in a record-breaking three years and became America’s first African American female combat pilot, Nexion said. She has been featured on CNN, MSNBC, The View, FOX News, Oprah Winfrey and others.
