CruiseOne, Cruises Inc Plan National Conference

CruiseOne franchise owners and Cruises Inc. independent agents will gather during the companies’ joint National Conference for a week of educational programming,  vents and industry networking.  The event, themed Mission: Success,  includes a cruise on the Carnival Pride October 4th – 11th out of Baltimore.

“The CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. National Conference is a highly anticipated annual event where all aspects of the cruise and travel industries intersect,” said Dwain Wall, senior vice president and general manager.  “Despite this year’s economic challenges, the rate at which our National Conference sold out underscores the resilience of this industry and our agents’ profound commitment to excellence.”

The focus of this year’s National Conference will be on ensuring agent profitability and success.  Workshops will include “Gatherings/Group Focus,” “Professional Selling,” “World Cruising,” “Client Loyalty,” “Special Interest Groups,” “Unique Destinations” and more.  There will also be a variety of interactive panels including a “Peer Marketing” panel and “Media Panel,” which will feature a Q&A with key members of the consumer and trade press.   

Stuart Cohen, president of Exclamation Points Inc., will be onboard to present “Super Success Business Coaching.”  Travel Guard will be on hand to facilitate “Basic Insurance” and “Advanced Insurance” workshops.  Executive team members from the CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. corporate office  in Fort Lauderdale will  offer presentations for agents on topics like social networking, marketing, selling charters and utilizing the companies’ proprietary technologies.  Senior leaders from World Travel Holdings will share their views on the company’s business and forecast travel trends for 2010.

More than 40 representatives from the top cruise lines will be in attendance at this year’s CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. National Conference.  Senior executives from some of those cruise lines will serve as Keynote Speakers during the event, including Gerry Cahill, Lynn Torrent, Adolfo Perez and Vicky Rey from Carnival Cruise Lines and Vicki Freed from Royal Caribbean International.
