Hawaii was named the world's top honeymoon destination, followed by French Polynesia and Fiji, signaling a trend to stay beach bound, according to a new survey by Signature Travel Network and Brides Magazine. The two partnered to name the world's hottest islands, resorts, cities, hotels, and hideaways by conducting a survey through Signature Travel’s 6,000 travel agents in North America.
Italy, a historic front-runner, placed fourth. The top up-and-coming destination for honeymooners was Belize. The full findings will be revealed in the March issue of Brides, due out next week.
