Travel Leaders Group took top honors in the Digital Travel Choice Awards for Best Digital Marketing Campaign from a Travel Retailer. The award was presented at the Digital Travel Summit held in Las Vegas.
Travel Leaders Group was recognized for the #MyRoyalAdventure online campaign conducted in partnership with Royal Caribbean International, which included the creation of a social content hub, www.myroyaladventure.com, that aggregated Royal Caribbean cruise guests’ user generated content with the objective of driving leads to Travel Leaders travel agents.
Through a combination of Facebook ad re-targeting, look-a-likes and conversion optimization ads from social media platforms, the campaign was a tremendous success, Travel Leaders said. The hub showcases a broad cross-section of original posts and photography from Royal Caribbean cruisers while driving sales leads to Travel Leaders travel advisors.
The Digital Travel Summit is an annual digital marketing, e-commerce strategy and customer engagement event for travel, hospitality and leisure companies focused on helping travel industry retailers fully harness digital strategies and technology. 2018 was the first year an awards program has been featured as part of the event.
