Travel Leaders Network and Nexion were both honored by Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) as top travel partners in their respective categories for 2017. Norwegian credited the two companies “for driving a very successful year” for the cruise brand.
Travel Leaders Network was recognized as U.S. Consortia of the Year and Nexion was honored as Home-Based Partner of the Year.
“We appreciate the strong partnership we have with Norwegian Cruise Line and encourage our members to take advantage of the tools NCL offers to agents,” said Roger E. Block, president of Travel Leaders Network, in a written release. “In October, NCL hosted 28 of our top-producing agency members onboard the Norwegian Epic for our annual Elite Event, which served as both a reward and an educational opportunity for them. That’s the nature of the relationship we have built.”
Jackie Friedman, the president of Nexion, said Norwegian has focused on working with independent travel professionals with sales support and marketing training. “Our agents are always striving to gain more product knowledge, market more effectively and sell more cruises and NCL has been a good partner in that effort,” she said.
