Travel Leaders of Tomorrow Passes 1,000 Participants

Travel Leaders Group has announced that over 1,000 people have now gone through its travel advisor training program, Travel Leaders of Tomorrow. Started in 2013, Travel Leaders’ education branch offers prospective agents two programs: Virtual Campus and Independent Learner.

Virtual Campus, Travel Leaders of Tomorrow’s original program, mixes guided lessons with convenience. Following an admissions interview, the program assigns each participant to a small group for virtual study and weekly lessons from travel industry experts. To conclude the course, students present a business plan to their instructors and study group.

Travel Leaders of Tomorrow’s other program, Independent Learner, allows for more flexibility. Students can take the course at their own pace, with all lessons and quizzes provided online.

Travel Leaders of Tomorrow also recently introduced a new scholarship program, Nexion Veterans in Travel. Veterans are offered entrance into the Virtual Campus as well as discounted rates for Nexion Travel Group membership.

Travel Leaders Group manages leisure, business and franchise travel operations under an assortment of divisions and brands. It ranks as one of the industry’s largest travel agency companies with over 7,000 agency locations. The group also offers The Travel Collection, a portfolio of travel offers, discounts and credits. Travel Leaders Group represents over 52,000 travel agents who assist with 135,000 destinations and 53,000 areas of interest.
