Silversea Introduces New Couture Collection

Luxury brand Silversea Cruises has announced their newest travel line: the Couture Collection. The 2018 inaugural collection is an exclusive series of ocean and land adventures. It will include a portfolio of nine pre- and post-cruise luxury land programs of five to 11 days, offering authentic and immersive travel experiences in remote regions of the Earth.
 
The pre- and post-cruise Couture Collection includes exclusive amenities ranging from private helicopter service in Mongolia to vintage rail in India and Gulfstream jets in and out of Antarctica.

Guests travel with small groups and most meals, beverages and exclusive culinary events, accommodations, tour guides, and excursions are included.

Rwanda & Serengeti 

Travelers explore rainforests of Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park while looking for the mountain gorilla in an exclusive two day trekking experience. Go on a game drive seeking the Big Five from a custom 4x4 in Tanzania's Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site best known for its annual migration of wildebeest, gazelles and zebras. This excursion is eight days; departures on November 20 or 27; combinable with Silver Discoverer expeditions departing on November 16 or 27.

White Desert & South Pole

Guests will explore ice caves and tunnels, climb a glacial island, and photograph a colony of emperor penguins at Atka Bay. Accommodations will be at Whichaway Camp and guests will fly in and out of Antarctica on a Gulfstream business jet. The excursion is 11 days, with departure on January 2; combinable with Silver Spirit's Decemeber 18, 2017 voyage.

Namibia & Rovos Rail

Highlights of this tour include "flightseeing" over the Skeleton Coast, exploring the Sesriem Canyon, and seeing the Namib Desert by hot air balloon. The luxury Rovos Rail will take travelers from Pretoria to Cape Town. This excursion is  six days. Departures are on January 8 or March 14; combinable with cruises on Silver Spirit (January 15) or Silver Cloud (March 21).

India

Traveling by private flights and vintage rail throughout India, guests will track in the Ranthambore wildlife reserve and take part in a dinner at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. Australia

Enjoy private air travel to and from Darwin to experience an authentic outback adventure at the Bullo River Station, a cattle ranch in Australia's Northern Territory. Explore Aboriginal rock art galleries. Cruise up the spectacular Bullo River Gorge. Discover the landscape of the Bungle Bungle Range. Swim in the jade-green natural rock pools of the Cascades. Iceland

Guests will take a private helicopter to explore Iceland’s wonders and have a champagne toast at the famous Godafoss Waterfall. Tibet

Mongolia

Travelers will visit with Tsaatan community of Northern Mongolia, one of the last remaining groups of reindeer herders, and learn about the culture of the Kazakh people. At the Naadam Festival (Three Games of Men), guests will watch an ancient spectacle of horse racing, archery and wrestling, valued as sports of strength, wisdom and courage. Bolivia

While in ice-capped Sajama, travelers will explore volcanoes, hot springs and 3,000-year-old plants. The will also visit Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat, and stay in a unique luxury camp of geodesic dome tents and discover the small village of Tahua, at the foot of the Tunupa Volcano, then hike to the cave of the Coquesa mummies and learn about their history. Stays include the luxury Alto Atacama Desert Lodge and Spa. Eight or ten days, departures on October 17 or 26; combinable with Silver Cloud expeditions departing on October 15 or 26.
