Travel Impressions Adds Hotels & Tours to Scandinavia Portfolio


After launching tours to Iceland in September 2017, Travel Impressions is upgrading its Scandinavia portfolio with new hotels and tours in Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden. The development follows similar enhancements to the tour operator’s product offerings in Italy and Switzerland, as well as its introduction of experiential tours in the UK, France, Scotland and Iceland.

In Norway, Travel Impressions is adding the Thon Hotel Oslo Panorama and Hotel Cristiana Teater in Oslo, as well as two Thon properties in BergenThon Hotel Orion and Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz. A new Fjord Excursion Cruise will take passengers through the sounds and bays surrounding Oslo, offering a scenic trip through Norway’s capital. Travel Impressions will also begin offering a "Norway in a Nutshell" full-day tour, showcasing the destination via rail and ferry through mountains and fjords with a self-guided itinerary. The journey is roundtrip from Bergen.

Travel Impressions will offer two new properties in Denmark, the award-winning Copenhagen Admiral Hotel as well as the newly-renovated Imperial Hotel, also in the heart of Copenhagen. A newly introduced Walking Food Tour of Denmark will take travelers through Copenhagen’s restaurants and pubs with stops at many of the cities historical landmarks.

The tour operator has also added the Hilton Helsinki Strand near Helsinki’s Kallio District as well as the Radisson Blu Plaza, a fully modernized luxury hotel which dates back to Finland’s independence in 1917. A new Day Cruise to Tallinn will take passengers across the Gulf of Finland to Estonia’s capital on the Baltic Sea, where they will experience Toompea Castle and the Aleksander Nevsky Cathedral, as well as towers and houses of guilds from the Middle Ages at a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back to the 15th century.

Finally, Travel Impressions made hotel additions in Sweden, including the waterfront Hotel Skeppsholmen and boutique Miss Clara by Nobis—both centrally located in the heart of Stockholm. Travel Impressions’ new Stockholm Panoramic Tour takes guests on a 75-minute luxury motor coach ride through Stockholm where they will see the city’s scenic highlights and historic landmarks.
