Inside Travel Group has announced that the newly created position on the U.S. trade team has been filled by Aaron Kuehn, trade partnerships manager. Bringing over two decades of experience in the travel industry, Kuehn is poised to help expand the company’s business of tour packages in Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia.
Gabo Quiros, trade marketing manager for Inside Travel Group, said “Aaron’s extensive experience in the tourism field will be instrumental in strengthening our relationships with trade partners and driving our growth in the market as we continue to expand beyond our roots as a start-up out of Bristol, England.”
Based out of Orange County, CA, Kuehn is situated to tap into the West Coast’s extensive travel advisor networks to enable them to sell more ITG tours. Prior to joining Inside Travel Group, Kuehn worked for Qatar Tourism, leading the trade team on driving tourism to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Kuehn has also cultivated several contacts working with Rocky Mountaineer, utilizing data and analytics to grow the train operator’s business to record levels.
Said Kuehn: “Inside Travel Group has long been a leader in offering immersive, culturally rich experiences in iconic destinations across Asia, and its commitment to sustainability as a B Corp is something I truly admire. This new role will empower me to continue fostering these meaningful partnerships and make it even easier for trade partners across the United States to offer their clients once-in-a-lifetime experiences through InsideJapan Tours and InsideAsia Tours.”
Inside Travel Group has seen record growth in 2024 for both the InsideAsia and InsideJapan brand, further recognized by the recent investment from Piper Group and Cool Japan Fund. With plans to further grow trade team staff in 2025 around the globe, the new position in the U.S. will support the increased level of advisors selling bespoke experiences to clients.
