Merlin Entertainments Now Bookable Via Klook Agent Marketplace

Travel and leisure booking platform, Klook, has been appointed as a key B2B distribution partner for Merlin Entertainments. Travel advisors around the world will now able to book Merlin’s full inventory of products via the Klook Agent Marketplace, a one-stop ticketing and B2B distribution solution. This will allow advisors access to the 17 Merlin products in ANZ, alongside the global suite of Merlin products. The Klook Agent Marketplace offers a net rate model, no booking volume commitments and instant e-ticketing.

Wilfred Fan, chief commercial officer at Klook, said in a press release that the Agent Marketplace is easy to navigate as it is based on the company's B2C software and its USP is that it is based on a net rate model, making it much simpler for agents to use.

The Klook Agent Marketplace is part of the company’s digital solutions portfolio for operators and has direct partnerships with 15,000-plus travel service providers worldwide. Among the benefits no commission is charged plus it has flexible price and profit margin settings; discounts of up to 70 percent off from retail prices; the B2B, B2C or corporate clients are served with ease leveraging Klook’s API solution that ensure real-time availability and time slots (depending on specific products this can either be instant, 24 hours or 48 hours confirmation); over 280,000 curated activities in 500 plus destinations can be booked in a streamlined platform, allowing agents to manage and check bookings in one place; and the quantities are flexible as well.

Founded in 2014, Klook allows travelers around the world to discover, book and choose from more than 280,000 offerings in over 500 destinations. In a bid to support domestic tourism, Klook has also partnered with Destination NSW and Tourism Australia to help local tourism operators gain exposure online.

Merlin Entertainments specializes in location-based family entertainment. It operates 137 attractions, 22 hotels and six holiday villages in 24 countries across four continents. Merlin attractions in Australia and New Zealand include Sea Life, Wild Life, Madame Tussauds, Sydney Tower Eye and Illawarra Fly in Sydney; Sea Life, Legoland Discovery Centre and Otway Fly in Melbourne; Sea Life in Sunshine Coast and Sea Life in Auckland. Other Merlin attractions include London Eye, Legoland in California, and Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong and Singapore.
