TTC Tour Brands Launch Small Group Domestic Itineraries

Owing to the popular demand for Trafalgar’s and Insight Vacations’ collection of brand new luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van small group tours, the global guided tour operators have added new itineraries that explore the great outdoors of Southern California, Arizona and more.

“There has been tremendous interest in small group tours. We knew this was going to be a successful program when we started seeing more interest in in-depth domestic travel experiences,” said Melissa Da Silva, president of TTC Tour Brands, North America.

Trafalgar’s "Small Group Active Tours" take guests on journeys off the beaten track. Itineraries include “Desert National Parks of California;” “Yellowstone, The Tetons and Glacier National Park” and “Yosemite and Lassen Volcanic National Park Discovery.” On the “California Coast Food and Wine Trail,” travelers will explore Southern California through the tastes and views of the coastal region. The “Arizona Discovery and the Grand Canyon” itinerary will include visits to Sedona, Scottsdale and the Grand Canyon. Each of these itineraries offers “Make Travel Matter” experiences that focus on sustainable practices and Native American cultural preservation.

Insight Vacations’ limited-edition tours include two new itineraries across Southern California: On “California’s Coastal Vistas and Vineyards,” guests can explore the region’s coasts and vineyards—from Santa Monica to Ventura, and Santa Barbara. They can visit the Joshua Tree National Park, the city of San Diego and Palm Springs on the “Southern California and Joshua Tree National Park” tour. Insight’s new “Iconic National Parks of Utah” itinerary will take visitors to popular national parks including Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley and Capital Reef National Park.

Trafalgar’s and Insight Vacations’ collection of regional, small group van tours allow guests to travel on a customized fleet of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans. The group will include no more than 17 guests and a two-person team of a travel director and driver.

These small group tours will give travelers more access to immersive experiences in locations that are not accessible to large groups. Every tour includes Trafalgar’s and Insight’s “Make Travel Matter” experiences, with a focus on sustainable practices and Native American cultural preservation.
