Exodus Travels Launches Premium Adventures

Tour operator Exodus Travels says that post-pandemic it is witnessing a fierce demand for elevated, off-the-beaten-path trips that give travelers access to far-flung locations and adventures. It also noted that travelers want to stay at "epic" and luxurious accommodations, with known expert trip leaders, elevated food and drink and increased comfort. To meet that desire, Exodus Travels has launched "Premium Adventures," a selection of experiences with top accommodations.

For instance, travelers can walk the ancient trails of Cappadocia, Turkey in the day, and stay at the Yunak Evleri Cave Hotel at night, in rooms dating back to the 5th century. They can spend their days being guided by expert leader and poet Semih Eser, practicing calligraphy or on safari through a landscape of rock towers, valleys and atop seacliffs, and even take an iconic balloon ride over the chimney-strewn landscape. Premium Adventures are designed to showcase the best of the destinations, as well as lesser-known routes and experiences.

There are currently 22 Premium Adventures available across the globe, with 22 more in development, including "Annapurna Trails & Chitwan," "Amazon Rainforest Small-Ship Cruise," "Kenya Photographic Safari with Paul Goldstein" and more.

Some of the Premium Adventures include:

Portugal: Walking & Wine with Magdalena Patacho: Travelers will learn the history of Portugal from grape to bottle on this exclusive gastronomic journey led by award-winning guide Madalena Patacho through the city of Porto and the Basto and Douro wine regions. Guests opting for this package will be staying at the five-star Douro Scala Hotel.

Premium Cycling Vietnam: Travelers will ride from Saigon in the south to the capital of Hanoi in the north. They will cycle on tarmac roads through colorful fishing villages, rice terraces and mountain jungles on this guided two-week cycling adventure. White sandy beaches await, with time to unwind and recharge on a tropical island at MerPerle Hon Tam Resort. Travelers can continue on to the ancient trading port of Hoi An, home to temples and unique architecture and delve into rural Vietnam before ascending the Hai Van Pass, riding along twisting coastal roads that lead to impressive views before finally making it to the limestone cliffs of Ha Long Bay for drinks on deck at sunset. The expert leaders are Chi Nguyen and Lam Nguyen.

Cape Town & The Garden Route: This is a journey between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. Pristine beaches, dramatic cliffs and gorges, fairy-tale forests and lively seaside towns line the shoreline. Travelers start their journey at the secluded Amakhala Safari Lodge, with game drives in the vast reserve complemented by time to relax personal, private plunge pools. Along the way travelers will sample local wines and cuisine in Stellenbosch, watch for Southern Right whales as they come close to shore (in season) and take nature walks. The adventure ends at the Ocean View House, where guests can relax and take in Cape Town’s striking setting.
