Holland America Line will offer four new “Legendary Voyages,” including a round-trip 45-day cruise from New York to the Mediterranean and a 28-day exploration of the South Pacific Islands in 2025 and early 2026. As travelers’ interest in longer cruises grows, these region-centric journeys allow guests to engage more intimately with the destinations visited.
Departing October 7, 2025, the 45-day “Ultimate Mediterranean & Atlantic Passage” Legendary Voyage aboard Volendam sails round-trip from New York. Guests will visit 20 ports in Portugal, Spain, U.K., Italy, Tunisia, Malta, Greece, Turkey and Egypt. Alternatively, the 28-day “Islands of the South Pacific” Legendary Voyage onboard Noordam departs January 4, 2026 and sails from Sydney to Auckland, visiting 20 ports across seven countries. The ship will sail along the east coast of Australia, with four calls in Queensland and an opportunity to snorkel at the Great Barrier Reef. The ship then calls at the Conflict Islands en route to Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji and Tonga, before three calls in New Zealand.
Other newly announced 2025-26 itineraries include the 27-day “South Pacific Crossing” Legendary Voyage aboard Noordam, departing October 12, 2025, from Seattle to Sydney; and the 36-day “South Pacific Crossing” Legendary Voyage aboard Noordam, departing March 15, 2026, sailing from Sydney to Seattle.
The four new Legendary Voyages join eight previously announced itineraries for 2025/26, including:
- The 28-day “Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice” Legendary Voyage round-trip from Seattle, departing June 8, 2025, aboard Westerdam
- The 28-day “Arctic Circle Crossing: Greenland and Iceland” Legendary Voyage sailing round-trip from Rotterdam or Dover on June 28 or 29, 2025, aboard Nieuw Statendam
- The 25-day “Canada, New England, Greenland and Iceland” Legendary Voyage sailing round-trip from Boston on July 12, 2025, aboard Volendam
- The 35-day “Voyage of the Vikings” Legendary Voyage sailing round-trip from Boston on July 19, 2025, aboard Zuiderdam
- The 28-day “Glaciers & Volcanoes: Alaska to Hawaii”’ Legendary Voyage sailing round-trip from Seattle on August 31, 2025, aboard Westerdam
- The 56-day “Tales of the South Pacific” Legendary Voyage sailing from Vancouver to San Diego on September 24, 2025, aboard Zaandam
- The 30-day “Amazon Explorer” Legendary Voyage sailing from New York to Fort Lauderdale on November 21, 2025, aboard Volendam
- The 35-day “Hawaii, Tahiti & Marquesas” Legendary Voyage sailing round-trip from San Diego on February 14, 2026, aboard Nieuw Amsterdam
