Emerald Cruises Unveils a 16-Day Safari and Seychelles Journey

Emerald Cruises has announced a new 16-day "Safari and The Seychelles" itinerary, available to book now with departures from December 2024 to February 2025. This journey aboard the 100-guest Emerald Azzurra yacht blends a Kenyan safari with a Seychelles cruise.

Kenyan safari highlights include two-night accommodations at the Samburu Game Reserve; three guided safari drives to spot elephants, giraffes, Somali ostriches, Grevy’s Zebra, lions, warthogs, impala, leopards and even the endangered black and white rhinos; an overnight stay at the Lake Nakuru National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for being one of the best game viewing parks in Kenya; a stop at the Thomson Falls scenic waterfalls; a three-night stay at the Maasai Mara Game Reserve to see the "Big Five" as well as the black-maned lion, savanna elephant, Cape buffalo, wildebeest and more; cultural immersion with the Maasai Village to engage with the nomadic community, gaining insights into their way of life and an appreciation for their customs; plus an optional hot air balloon ride to get a bird’s-eye view of the landscape.

Post-safari, guests can relax and set sail aboard Emerald Azzurra, exploring the Seychelles and the Indian Ocean's hidden gems. From Sainte Anne Island, encircled by a marine national park and home to more than 150 species of fish, to Cousin Island, a haven for rare magpie robins, guests can expect bespoke experiences throughout the trip. The voyage will also stop at Curieuse, a rugged island swathed in unspoiled wilderness and Praslin, an island brimming with coral and marine life.

Emerald Azzurra offers modern staterooms, an open-air infinity pool, and a wellness deck complete with a spa, infrared sauna and gym. The La Cucina restaurant onboard offers fresh, seasonal cuisine with terrace and indoor seating options. The Amici Lounge provides a friendly atmosphere for socializing with live music. When anchored, guests can engage in water-based activities, using kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling equipment, and more from the yacht’s marina platform.

In addition to the new offerings in the Indian Ocean and tropical Seychelles, the newest Emerald Cruises brochure details a full collection of warm-water yacht cruises on board twin luxury yachts, Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara, in the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Red and Caribbean seas. Vogages range from 15 to 24 days, including the 22-day "Hidden Treasures of the Caribbean" sailing with no repeat ports.
