Karisma Announces Name Changes to Azul Beach Resorts Collection

Karisma Hotels & Resorts has announced name changes to some of the Azul Beach Resorts by Karisma. The company will be rolling out these modifications on its websites, travel agent portal, and social media pages this month. Despite name changes, each Azul Beach Resort will offer the same experiences, including the signature Karisma Gourmet Inclusive Experience that caters to travelers of all kinds, the company said.

The name changes at the Azul Beach Resorts by Karisma include:

  • Azul Beach Resort the Fives Playa Del Carmen has changed its name to The Fives Azul Beach Resort Playa Del Carmen
  • Azul Beach Resort Sensatori Jamaica has changed its name to the Azul Beach Resort Negril
  • Azul Beach Resort Sensatori Mexico has changed its name to the Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun
  • The final property in the collection, Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya, has not changed its name.

Karisma Hotels & Resorts is a luxury hotel collection of hotels, resorts, and villas in destinations around the world including Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Croatia, Montenegro, and Serbia

The company plans to expand its portfolio in the coming years with a number of new properties. It will be opening three hotels in the Cap Cana resort area of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic by 2019. The three hotels will be a Sensimar resort, El Dorado Royale hotel and an El Dorado Casitas Royale, by Karisma. These will be the company’s first El Dorado Royale hotels outside of Mexico.

Karisma has also announced plans to expand to Huatulco. Groundbreaking on three hotels, including an El Dorado Royale, a Generations hotel and a Nickelodeon resort, will begin in 2019. All three hotels are expected to open in 2020.
