Meet Serafina Beach Hotel, Set to Be Puerto Rico’s Newest Luxury Getaway

The bustling, vibrant Condado district of San Juan will soon be home to one of Puerto’s Rico’s sexiest luxury properties for Millennials, the Serafina Beach Hotel.

Set to open November 15, Serafina Beach Hotel aims to be a haven for Millennials with money with a specific focus on girls’ and guys’ getaways.

Pierre-Alex Maillard, general manger of the hotel, told Travel Agent the hotel is looking to attract some corporate business during the week and attract affluent Millennials looking to party on the weekends.

The hotel’s main pool is expected to be the spot for socializing as there are many activities and fun events planned for the pool area during the weekends. It is also one of the closest pools to the ocean anywhere in the Caribbean, Maillard told us.

Half of the hotel’s 96 rooms face the ocean while the other half face the lagoon, which provides great action shots of people kayaking on the water. But the best room here is the Positano Ocean Terrace Suite, which has 325 feet of interior space to go along with 280 square feet of terrace space. There is only one of these rooms on property.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, aMare, will be a seafood-inspired Italian restaurant that can sit 120 people and is open to locals. There is also a lobby bar called Pina Co that serves up fresh pina coladas for guests upon arrival. And if pina coladas aren’t your drink of choice, the hotel also houses 120 different kinds of Caribbean rums.

For spa services, guests can use the facilities of neighboring property, the Condado Vanderbilt.

Bonus Commissions

Although booking has yet to commence, Travel Agent was also told that the hotel will be offering special 15 percent bonus commissions for agents until December 15.
