Maxx Royal Bodrum: More Details About Upcoming Resort

Located on a secluded bay on the Bodrum Peninsula’s northern shores, the design-forward Maxx Royal Bodrum is slated to open on May 17, 2024. Additionally, a partnership with Scorpios, the creative beach concept first conceived on the island of Mykonos, will see the launch of the brand’s first outpost outside of Greece.

The opening of Maxx Royal Bodrum, a sustainably designed all-suite and private villa resort, will mark the brand’s third property in Türkiye, alongside Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort and Maxx Royal Kemer Resort in Antalya

Art will play a central role in the resort experience curated by art advisor, Zeynep Utku, a graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. High-profile collaborations have been established with leading artists, including 82-year-old maestro Bernar Venet and Turkish artist Refik Anadol. The property will also be home to two art galleries where through Arts Connected, Utku has partnered with Bastok Lessel, founded by Tom David Bastok and Dylan Lessel. An exhibition program is planned with blue-chip artworks (which will also be open to non-residents). A residency program is in the works, as well, with plans to host a roster of international names, including Canadian artist Chloe Wise over the summer months.

Maxx Royal Bodrum will house seven restaurants, including Caviar Kaspia, which serves caviar, smoked fish and other seafood; Oro by Alfredo Russo, an Italian concept restaurant and bar; Twenty4, offering a range of international plates alongside local specialties; Manos, a traditional Greek taverna-style restaurant in a beachside setting with live music, serving seafood, grilled meats and salads; a restaurant that offers Latin cuisine and rum, showcasing an exclusive in-house blend; Le Melange & Chocolatier, offering handmade sweet treats; and Ice Cream Parlor, which serves hand-crafted gelato and ice lollies in a range of flavors. The property will also have six bars offering cocktails and mocktails alongside international and regional wines.

The partnership with Scorpios will allow guests to immerse themselves in "the cross-cultural experimentation in music and art" that the creative beach concept is known for. Scorpios Bodrum also marks the brand’s first 24-hour offering, with exclusive accommodation encouraging guests to make the most of the sunrise.
