Dream Vacations, CruiseOne & Cruises Inc Conference Kicks Off

World Travel Holdings has kicked off the 2019 National Conference for Cruises Inc., CruiseOne and Dream Vacations. Over the next week, the event, which has drawn nearly 1,000 travel professionals, will take place on Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas

The conference began with opening remarks from Drew Daly, senior vice president and general manager of Cruises Inc., CruiseOne and Dream Vacations; and a performance from “Flight: Dare To Dream,” Royal Caribbean’s signature production that chronicles the past, present and future of air travel and space exploration.

Attendees also had the opportunity to see Royal Caribbean International’s President and CEO Michael Bayley participate in a question and answer session moderated by World Travel Holdings Senior Vice President of Product & Operations David Crooks.

Symphony of the Seas incorporates the seven-neighborhood concept of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis-class ships. Signature experiences range from the 10-story Ultimate Abyss and glow-in-the-dark laser tag, to The Perfect Storm trio of multistory waterslides, more than 10 pools, robot bartenders at the Bionic Bar, and the two-story Ultimate Family Suite with an in-room slide, air hockey table and more.

The conference theme, Dare, will aim to motivate attendees to challenge the status quo, take risks and think outside the box as they strategize new tactics for growing their business. Throughout the week, attendees will engage with each other, industry executives and nearly 50 headquarters staff as they learn about the latest trends in business and get up-to-date insights from travel industry leaders, the three cruise-selling brands said.
