Seabourn Sojourn

Seabourn has announced its 2020 146-day World Cruise: Extraordinary Destinations package. Sailing the first five months of the year, Seabourn Sojourn will take passengers around the world from Miami to San Francisco, stopping at 62 ports in 36 countries across five continents.

Departing Miami January 4, 2020, Seabourn Sojourn will sail south into the Caribbean and along the northern coast of South America. Leaving from Barbados, the ship will cross the Atlantic and, starting in Dakar, will move southward along Africa’s coast.

After rounding the tip of the continent, Seabourn Sojourn will embark up the coast until Mombasa and then across the Indian Ocean to southern Asia. After moving through southeast Asia, the ship will travel along the northern edge of Australia eastward until Sydney. The cruise will end with its northeastern journey to San Francisco, stopping at several Pacific islands, including Hawaii.

The World Cruise will spend 16 overnights in port and will allow late land visits another 18 times. Partnering with UNESCO, Seabourn plans to offer over 20 optional shore trips to UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Passengers may also choose from an assortment of optional overland excursions throughout the voyage. Guests will leave the ship behind and travel overland, meeting back up with Seabourn Sojourn later. Through these programs, travelers can visit safari parks and game reserves in Kenya and South Africa, the Taj Mahal and UNESCO World Heritage sites in Cambodia and Australia.

Guests can add pre- or post-cruise land excursions to Cape Town, Singapore or Sydney through the company’s Seabourn Journeys program. For those who cannot sail the entire length of the cruise, Seabourn offers shorter segments of 30 to 116 days.
