Ana Causes No Major Damage to Caribbean

The National Weather Service reported early Monday that Tropical Storm Ana was to hit most of the U.S. Virgin Islands as well as Puerto Rico.  The storm however moved too fast through the U.S. Virgin Islands to have a significant impact. Later that day, the storm, which was downgraded to a tropical depression and passed south of Puerto Rico. Heavy rains across the eastern third of Puerto Rico ended in the early afternoon, causing some localized flooding but no serious damage.
