Avani Hotels has announced the opening of Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club on Koh Samui’s Chaweng Beach. The mid-century modern-inspired beach destination is intended to be reminiscent of the "glamorous, freewheeling spirit" of 1950s Palm Beach and Miami.
Avani Chaweng has 80 guestrooms and suites. The resort’s swimming pool offers cabanas and a mixology station that doubles as a check-in area for guests. Pretty cool: SEEN Beach Club Samui is just next door and hosts pool parties with DJs and entertainment on tap.
Guestroom categories include Cool Pool View, Sweet Sea Breeze and Fabulous Sea View. The ground floor houses Funky Poolside rooms with terraces that open onto the courtyard pool. The 655-square-foot Groovy Sea View Suite and 970-square-foot Double Groovy Sea View Suite are ideal for pre-parties. Guests will have access to costumes, wigs and other essentials on loan, besides a vinyl record player and cocktail-making station. Guests can even call on their private DJ to spin the decks and a paparazzi-for-hire to ensure that every moment of revelry is documented.
Guests can enjoy a bubbly breakfast or a wholesome lunch of Mediterranean, Asian and American flavors at SEEN Beach Club. The 24-hour Social Bar serves late-night comfort foods and cocktails.
Outdoor activities include pool parties, diving and a sunset catamaran cruise. At the fully equipped, 24-hour AvaniFit gym, personal trainers are available upon request. Other wellness and leisure pursuits include SUP yoga, ice breathing and ice bathing on the beach, and portrait sessions with a resident artist.
