The swimming pool at Villa Buena Onda is a two-tier, ocean view, saltwater pool. The top tier is an infinity pool that cascades into the bottom level pool about eight feet below.
The pool has an amazing view of Coco Bay, which includes Playas del Coco. It is about 1,500 square feet and includes 13,000 gallons of water.
Advisors should note that guests may book private events, parties and weddings along the pool area as long as the entire eight-bedroom villa is rented out. To rent out the villa, advisors should reach out to Carolina Nordenstohl, hotel manager for Villa Buena Onda, at [email protected].
As far as pool activities goes, Villa Buena Onda offers scuba diving instructions in the pool upon requests. There is also a yoga deck just below the pool area for private classes. But given that the hotel is adults only, the pool is pretty much used for cocktail sipping and relaxing.
Millennials enjoying some cocktails at the pool’s swim-up bar should taste the hotel’s signature drink, “The Green Iguana,” which consists of mint, pineapple and rum. Millennials should also note that all meals are included in the stay at Villa Buena Onda.
