Ennismore and Cain International have revealed the first look of Delano Miami Beach ahead of its reopening in late 2025 following a complete makeover.
Since 1947, the Art Deco façade of original Delano Miami Beach has paid homage to the mid-century Miami style. In the 90s, the Collins Avenue landmark underwent a complete renovation, overseen by hotelier Ian Schrager and Philippe Starck. Now, the property has been redesigned by Elastic Architects in collaboration with Ennismore’s in-house design team.
The 171 guestrooms and suites, including poolside Bungalow and Penthouse Suites, will sport bespoke lighting and furnishings, besides refreshed Delano brand signatures when the hotel reopens. Taking advantage of the resort’s beachfront location, oversized windows and terraces offer views over the Miami skyline or the Atlantic Ocean.
Delano Miami Beach will also be home to four restaurant and bar concepts, including the refreshed Rose Bar. The resort will offer guests, as well, curated retail, a wellness studio and spa, not to mention exclusive spaces for events and meetings. In addition, the ground-floor pool will be joined by a new beachfront amenity deck and a second pool on the fourth floor.
The first Maison Delano, the brand’s metropolitan concept, opened in Paris in April 2023. In October 2024, the Delano brand was introduced to a new destination with the opening of Delano Dubai. In 2024, Ennismore and Cain entered into a strategic partnership in which the latter acquired a minority stake in the Delano brand, focusing on the reopening of the flagship and global growth with exciting pipeline projects under discussions across all regions.
