Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit Expands Healthy Dining Options

Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit has introduced several new additions to its healthy dining menu. Newcomers to the resort’s menu include vegan sushi developed by the resort’s 2018 Wellnessing Getaway host Nikki Sharp, five new healthy bowls and four different juice combos.

The unique vegan sushi, the highlight of the menu’s additions, is made with quinoa and cauliflower rice, purple cabbage, red pepper, carrots, avocado and cilantro. Sharp, who created the dish for Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, is a Los Angeles-based health coach, yoga instructor, vegan chef and author.

The new healthy bowls blend a wide assortment of vegetables, grains and fruits into different dishes. The fit bowl offers 20 different ingredients for guests to mix and match. The four other bowls include ingredients that range from quinoa, chickpea and sweet potato purée to cabbage salad, rice noodles and brussels sprouts.

The new juice options include a signature Green Juice; an Anti-Flu Juice with ginger, orange, lemon, pineapple, and honey; Detox Juice with pineapple, spinach, beetroot, ginger, and coconut water; and Energetic Juice with beetroot, carrot, celery, green apple, cucumber, and coconut water.

Gourmet meals and branded beverages are included in the rates at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. Situated amid the Sierra Madre Mountains, the resort features 267 ocean view suites, some with their own private plunge pools.
