Hilton Hotels has announced the opening of Hotel Alpenrock Breckenridge, Curio Collection by Hilton. This marks the brand’s first property at a major ski resort and the first upscale hotel in Breckenridge, CO.
Located on Peak 9, Hotel Alpenrock Breckenridge is close to all the mountain adventures the destination offers. Situated five minutes from the QuickSilver Super6 and Beaver Run SuperChair, the property offers easy access to the slopes of Breckenridge Ski Resort. The hotel is just steps from the historic downtown, home to dozens of quaint shops and restaurants.
The hotel offers 205 guestrooms, including 24 suites. The spacious rooms feature expansive bathrooms, custom lighting and handcrafted furniture, while the large full suites feature kitchenettes, living and dining areas, and separate bedrooms—ideal for families or longer stays.
The lobby beckons guests to linger and relax with its two-sided fireplace surrounded by seating options. The hotel features three dining experiences: Edwin, the hotel’s signature restaurant, is open for breakfast and dinner, and pairs Colorado-inspired fare with a wine list featuring small-production vineyards; at The Carter, guests can enjoy craft cocktails and light bites by the fireplace; and Canary, the hotel’s speakeasy offers a range of cocktails, crafted to each guest’s tastes and mood, offering a personalized experience.
Skiers and snowboarders will appreciate the slopeside ski valet, heated storage for gear, and an on-site Breckenridge Sports retail and rental shop. Other facilities include outdoor hot tubs and a state-of-the-art fitness room.
Guests can walk to Breckenridge’s historic downtown or make use of the shuttle. They can also enjoy 24-hour grab-and-go options from the Café & Market. The hotel provides curated experiences such as guided art walks, the Magical Moose Kids’ Program, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Edwin Carter Museum in downtown Breckenridge, and more.
