The Hartling Group is set to reopen The Palms Turks & Caicos on December 14, 2024 ahead of its 20th anniversary in 2025. Following an $18 million renovation, the hotel, situated on the Grace Bay Beach, now offers an expansive outdoor experience, complete with a new pool deck, as well as a new oceanfront restaurant and refreshed guestrooms. The resort transformation was a collaborative effort of EoA Design, RAD Architecture Inc and Hartling Construction.
The renovated pool deck includes an oceanfront infinity pool, a swim-up bar serving craft cocktails, and lounge areas adorned with handcrafted textiles and artisanal accents. Other features include hidden alcoves, day beds draped in soft fabrics and rattan lanterns. The deck also includes shaded dining spaces.
Among the other significant additions is Sí Sí, a new oceanfront Mexican-inspired restaurant. With the Caribbean Sea as its backdrop, and led by Executive Chef Rajasaker Ravindran along with a renowned guest chef and collaborator Elia Herrera, guests can expect a blend of traditional and contemporary Mexican flavors with every dish. Signature dishes will include Corn Bread Soufflé, Shrimp Coconut Ceviche, Queso Fundido, Salpicón de Pescado and Chicken Tinga to name a few.
The Palms’ guestrooms now have completely refurbished bathrooms, upgraded kitchen countertops, lighting, new textiles and fresh hues.
