Paradisus by Melia has announced the completion of a $2.6 million renovation to the brand's Royal Service Ocean View Suites and Royal Service Lounge at Paradisus Cancun in Mexico. The renovation transformed 135 Royal Service Ocean View Suites to boast an open-air concept with nature-inspired details. In December 2017, the resort will introduce a second phase of the property refresh with new Royal Service Lagoon View Suites and a private Royal Service Solarium.
The suite refresh includes a new design palette that draws inspiration from the surrounding environment with green and yellow hues, blue colors in the bathroom and white furniture. Each suite is also equipped with a 50-inch HDTV and espresso machines/tea service.
In addition to the new suites, Royal Service guests at Paradisus Cancun now have access to an exclusive treatment at the property’s YHI Spa. The new Dead Sea Treatment consists of an innovative magnetic facial spa treatment infused with black pearl powder, pure oils and plant extracts that accelerates the cellular dynamics and exfoliates dead cells. The mask is later removed with a special magnet for a restored and radiant complexion.
Paradisus' Royal Service offers all-inclusive luxury in an adults-only environment. Available at all properties, the service is designed for travelers seeking an exclusive vacation experience. Upon arrival, guests will have access to a VIP check-in in a private lounge, complete with cocktails, snacks, computers, Wi-Fi and a library. Royal Service guests are assigned a butler who will take care of every need, including preferential spa, restaurant and activity reservations, complimentary laundry, dry cleaning service and access to private Bali beds and chaise lounges at beach and pool areas. Additional amenities of Royal Service including suite accommodations with a whirlpool bath, in-suite, or on a private terrace; specialty Royalty Service restaurants and bars; private pools and beach areas; and personalized turn-down services such as a pillow menu, in-room whirlpool bath preparation and minibars stocked to suit personal preferences.
