Tour company Trafalgar has released its 2019 Europe & Britain brochure, featuring 116 trips that visit a total of 220 cities. Next year’s lineup will feature four new trips to Ireland, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain and Portugal, as well as two new trip extensions to the Greek Islands.
New next year, Trafalgar will be offering the Shamrocks and Leprechauns family trip. The tour includes an archery class at Winterfell Castle, a visit to sheep farm on the Wild Atlantic Way and a stop at the Flying Boat Museum.
Trafalgar also introduced its first dedicated Poland itinerary, Best of Poland. Stopping in Warsaw, Gdansk, Toruń, Wroclaw, Zakopane, Kraków and Czestochowa, the tour includes visits to Warsaw Old Town, the Auschwitz concentration camp and The Living Museum of Gingerbread.
Travelers will also have plenty of options if they want a chance to dine with the locals. Trafalgar will offer 103 of its Be My Guest experiences, a couple of which will be featured on the company’s other two new tours. The Best of Croatia and Slovenia trip will bring guests to Opatija in Croatia where they can eat an authentic Mediterranean dinner. The Treasures of Spain and Portugal package offers a traditional Andalusian dinner at the Morillo family’s estate.
Trafalgar also added two new five-day trip extensions that can be added to its Best of Greece and Best of Greece and Italy trips. The Mykonos Island Extension and Santorini Island Extension will give guests extra time to explore the islands and immerse themselves in the local culture.
