MAST Travel Network’s Young Professional Network, MAST JV, hosted a charity CycleBar spin class. It was the organization's first standalone event, which supported ASTAPAC. Participants included: MAST members, preferred suppliers, ASTA’s Midwest Chapter President, Jesse Guerra, and Board Member, John Haskins, as well as MAST staff, including President and COO, John Werner, friends and family. The JV event exceeded the goal of $1,200 in donations.

“Giving back and offering the network a fun, new learning opportunity, where all ages can get involved, was our goal and I believe we were able to accomplish that with all the support we received,” said Stephanie Werner, MAST’s Strategic Development Manager in a written statement.

The group took part in a 45-minute spin class at CycleBar in Lombard, Illinois. At the end of the event, participants gathered at a post event reception where they listened to ASTA’s John Haskins and Jesse Guerra on how ASTAPAC works directly on behalf of all travel advisors for agency rights and the travel advisor community at large. Haskins said, “If you’re not at the table you’re on the menu.” MAST and ASTA work together to influence the industry.
