Essential Costa Rica, the official country brand for the Central American destination, has announced it will sponsor a venue at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival with luxury membership concierge service Wanderluxxe. From January 25 to 28, their lounge will host a series of exclusive daytime wellness activities, filmmaker panels, premiere parties and more.

The Sundance Film Festival, held in Park City, Utah, ranks as the United States’ largest independent film festival. This year, the Wanderluxxe Filmmaker Lounge, presented by Essential Costa Rica will present two film premieres: one for “Love, Antosha,” a documentary tribute to Anton Yelchin, and another for “Clemency,” a film from director and screenwriter Chinonye Chukwu. The venue will additionally host discussions about diversity, women in entertainment and industry leaders on January 26 and 28, as well as a fireside chat with Tichina Arnold on January 26.

In addition to film events, the space will feature wellness experiences throughout the weekend, including daily yoga led by Lululemon, a sauna, facials and massages. The Essential Costa Rica wellness lounge will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will host daily yoga sessions at 10 a.m. and daily Après Ski from 3 to 5 p.m., featuring a Costa Rican spiked coffee bar and cocktails. The weekend’s main event will be a VIP reception featuring a unique menu created by Essential Costa Rica Ambassador Chef Santiago Fernández.
