Andronis Hotels Appoints Carla Sage Director of Spa and Wellness

Santorini, Greece-based luxury hotel group Andronis has appointed Carla Sage as director of spa and wellness. In this role, Sage, who has 25 years of industry experience in over 18 countries, will be responsible for elevating and enhancing aspects of guest wellbeing across the brand.

Prior to joining Andronis, Sage served as director of spa training for Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas, director of education for Dermalogica and spa director at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo. Besides, her international experience includes overseeing the launch of the spa in the first Park Hyatt in Beijing, as well as time at Malliouhana Auberge Resort in Anguilla.

With university degrees and equivalents in human biology and massage therapy, coupled with a diploma in medical esthetics, Sage has created an “exclusive to Andronis” series of wellness offerings.

With its new approach to guest's wellbeing, Andronis has partnered with Dr. Zulia Frost to provide guests with a wellness analysis, a personalized nutritional epigenetic mapping by using only four strands of hair. Utilizing the patented, Cell Wellbeing digital S-drive system, which provides more than 800 key wellness indicators, the analysis provides detailed information and the foundations of a plan for guests to achieve their healthiest future.

The process begins with a wellness analysis coupled with a range of healthful offerings that embrace body, mind and spirit. Under the consultation and guidance of Sage as Andronis’ key wellness practitioner and her team of therapy specialists, guests can reflect, recharge and reconnect with their inner selves.

In addition, Sage has designed a three-day wellbeing retreat named “The Andronis Wellbeing Path.” It is aimed at de-stressing guests and for them to be rested, and be balanced. The program includes fitness, yoga, nutritional cooking classes and spa treatments, with signature treatments such as Morning Calm, Kundalini Dance, Postural Alignment Therapy, Caldera Hike, Vinyasa Flow, Body Scan Meditation, Kneipp Pool Walking and Stretching. In addition, guests will be given the opportunity to continue communicating with the spa and wellness team for 90 days following their stay.
