Marriott Rebrands Dominican Republic All-Inclusive Resort

Marriott International has announced the latest addition to its All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy portfolio with the signing of Marriott Miches Beach, An All-Inclusive Resort, currently the Sunrise Miches Beach Resort in the Dominican Republic. Set to undergo a conversion process commencing in the second quarter of 2024, the resort is slated to open its doors under the Marriott Hotels brand in the first quarter of 2025.

Set on a 62-acre site in Miches, within a 60-minute ride distance of the Punta Cana International Airport, the resort offers nearly 1,000 feet of beachfront. Upon reopening, it will have 498 rooms with balconies and terraces, while select accommodations will additionally offer private swim-up pools.

The resort will house a range of facilities, including a spa with more than 10 treatment rooms, a gym, a retail area, three pools with poolside bars, six restaurants, three pop-up venues, stylish bars, a jacuzzi lounge and a discotheque. There will also be approximately 8,600 square feet of indoor meeting and event space. Programming and activity options will be also curated following Marriott All-Inclusive standards.

Following the recent debut of the first Marriott All-Inclusive Resort in Cancun in late 2023, the Marriott Miches Beach, An All-Inclusive Resort, Dominican Republic, joins a portfolio of properties debuting into the Marriott Hotels All-Inclusive flagship throughout this year and the next, including Marriott Puerto Vallarta, An All-Inclusive Resort and Marriott Djerba, An All-Inclusive Resort – Tunisia.
