Business travel continues to be an important part of many travel professionals’ businesses, and offers excellent opportunities to earn lucrative commissions. To help its members increase domestic and international business travel sales, Nexion invited over 20 of its top-performing corporate travel agent members to attend its third annual Corporate CoNexions.

The event was made possible in part by a founding sponsorship by Enterprise Holdings, Inc. Held in Chicago from June 9 to 11, Corporate CoNexions participants toured United Airlines’ operations center, ultra-luxury Polaris Club, O’Hare International Airport’s baggage handling center and the control tower, as well as attended workshops and networking events with supplier partners.

The small size of the group gave attendees the ability to make connections with corporate travel suppliers, and to participate in individual conversations with the suppliers, as well as Nexion’s internal experts. Nexion provided a full day of learning on Saturday, followed by a “cocktail networking” hour, where Corporate CoNexions attendees could spend time one-on-one with supplier partners. As the event was held in Chicago, United Airlines played an important role in the weekend, in addition to providing a leading sponsorship.
