After launching kosher Jewish interest tours of India and Southeast Asia in partnership with Rabbi Marvin Tokayer and the Foundation for Remote Jewish Communities (FRJC), Pacific Delight Tours will debut its inaugural “Tokayer heritage tours” based upon the itineraries created by Rabbi Tokayer.

Departing July 1, 2018, Journey Home: Japan and China Through Jewish Eyes will be led by Rabbi Tokayer’s son, Dr. Amiel Tokayer, who was born and raised in Japan and has led a number of Jewish tours to the Far East.

Journey Home: Japan and China Through Jewish Eyes includes highlights of Japan and China including Tokyo’s Imperial Palace, temples and gardens in Kyoto, and the Terra Cotta Warriors of China’s first emperor in Xi'an. The tour also delves into the Jewish diaspora communities in China and the history of Jews in Japan, including a private concert by the Japanese Hebrew Choir in Kyoto.
