Red Jacket Resorts Announces $40 Million Multi-Property Reno

Red Jacket Resorts has announced the first phase of a collection-wide renovation scheduled to be completed by May 2024. Three of its five mid-Cape Cod properties—Red Jacket Beach Resort, Riviera Beach Resort and Blue Water Resort—will undergo a collective $40 million property-wide reinvention project that includes 397 standard guestrooms, family suites and vacation cottages, seven F&B venues, lobby spaces and meeting rooms, as well as pool experiences and beachfront amenities. Though each of the three properties share a similar South Shore Drive oceanfront address, they differ in the versatility of their accommodations and amenities.

Red Jacket Resorts’ multi-phase makeover is being led by EOS Hospitality, which acquired the portfolio in late 2021 and is one of the largest operators of independent hotels in New England.

A mid-Cape institution, Red Jackets Resorts opened its first (eponymous) hotel in the 1960s. Now consisting of five hotels in Yarmouth, MA, the company will be rolling out, as part of the "reinvention," new summer-centric amenities and spaces designed with a full spectrum of Cape Cod travelers in mind. The properties will unveil an array of new guestrooms for families, couples and solo travelers. At Red Jacket Beach Resort, visitors will enjoy a complete refresh to its 163 rooms as well as the addition of family-friendly suites, complete with a king bed and full-sized bunks, each with its own private nook. At Riviera Beach Resort, all 125 rooms will undergo a full transformation with guests now able to book a Family Suite that sleeps up to eight and offers four queen beds and a dining area. At Blue Water Resort, a redesign of the 109 rooms is underway and will include the Two Bed - Two Bunk Suite sleeping up to eight. Blue Water Resort also offers dog-friendly rooms ideal for two to four guests.

The revitalization of Red Jacket Resorts’ accommodations will be complemented by a new restaurant concept at Blue Water Resort in addition to refreshed lobbies, meeting spaces and new furnishings at Red Jacket Resort pool. The properties will also roll out new partnerships that will provide updated amenities for guests to enjoy throughout the summer.

As part of the newest chapter for Red Jacket Resorts, all five properties have launched new branding and websites. In celebration of the relaunch, Red Jacket Resorts is offering the “New Year, New Red Jacket” promotion with 24 percent off select dates and 20 percent off all season. Blackout dates may apply.
